Sparkly Singing Stall

We had a reasonably successful fair this weekend - at least we made enough money to keep us in yarn for another week or so. The venue was lovely and highly recommended if you feel like a night or two of luxury. (Queen Anne's Manor Hilton Hotel). It is the first time I have sold crochet to lots of ladies in white dressing gowns - they had been having spa treatments at the hotel! Anyway here are some high lights:

New snowmen for this year
Simple but very popular for decorating presents and trees.
Most of the stall.
Baubles in a basket
Gorgeous snowflakes.

An amazing number of people bought these. All the money will go to the British Legion
Left: the free form scarf and below some flower brooches.

The free form books look lovely together.

         And this week's crochet:
Remember these ambassador?

They can look like this

Or you can convert the chocolates into a choir of singing Robins.

With a soloist.

Or they can become baubles or are they bells?

Lovely and sparkly.

Only other new thing is the poinsettia. Again sparkly with that slight randomness that you get with the real thing.

The Ferrero Rocher covers were inspired by Vicky. She suggested robins and I have put her ideas into practice. She is the one with the ideas but she has to make a living so she doesn't get the time to do as many of the fun bits - still it must be our turn to win the lottery soon.

  1. Hi Lynn, the craft fair looks wonderful-perfect relaxed audience in their Spa dressing gowns, glad it was successful.
The singing robins are too cute-fabulous make.
I am on the lottery win dream too.
Have a lovely week and fingers crossed.

  2. Congrats on the fair. What beautiful things!

  3. Thank you both very much. The trouble with customers in their dressing gowns is that they don't carry much money. But a good time was had by all.

  4. Fabulously colourful stall - lots of beautiful woolly goodies!
Love your chocolate cosies = brill idea!
    Pretty poinsettias too.
Amazing tree - so simple and beautifully effective!
    Thanks for the sparkles!
    Ali x

  5. Thank you again for your encouraging comments. I seem to have got in the chocolate cosy groove and I have to keep buying more chocolates even when I don't make more cosies - can't understand it. But I do like chocolate..
